Javascript Promises - Still Learning

I am slowly learning the new concept of Javascript promises.  Not much to say, there is already a lot out there.  This is just my first attempt http://jsbin.com/xagah/1.  Let me know if this example is too rudimentary or a good start.

Is Programming a Cult?

Developing for computers is a lot like life, just another way of finding a way to communicate.  Developers have found solace with computers because they do what we expect whereas people, don't respond the same way.  Truth be told, someone just like me, many years ago, found a way to communicate with a technology, I found that technology interesting and followed it.

I am in a cult.  I have been for many years.  Most computer folks don't really have much to say about "God" and are absorbed with their own thoughts and ways of doing things. Does that make us bad? No.  We just learned a different way in life.  I enjoy building things, creating anew, making things happen, making things better.

If you aren't too religious and I say "I am God", you will understand after reading this as you speculate within yourself to finally realize, we are all "God".
